Premier Predictor: Man City rated just 50/50 to finish in the top four

Manchester City have just a 53 per cent chance of being in the Champions League next year, according to the Premier Predictor.
And they’re given just a five per cent chance of winning the title in Pep Guardiola’s first year in charge – well behind hot favourites Chelsea, who have a 63 per cent probability of finishing as champions.
Manchester United are now gaining on their ‘noisy neighbours’, with a 39 per cent chance of reaching the top four, despite a poor start to the season.
A month ago they had just a 12 per cent probability of Champions League football next season, while City had a 66 per cent chance. But a run of five straight wins for Jose Mourinho’s team, and City’s recent loss to Liverpool, have narrowed the gap.
Looking ahead to the weekend, United are given an effectively even chance of beating Liverpool at Old Trafford live on Sky Sports this Sunday, while Man City are narrow favourites to beat Everton at Goodison Park.
Relegation-threatened Hull, Burnley and Sunderland are set for close-run matches hosting Bournemouth, Southampton and Stoke respectively, with Watford v Middlesbrough also highly uncertain.
Meanwhile, Chelsea and Arsenal are expected to win away at Leicester and Swansea, while Spurs and West Ham are home favourites against West Brom and Crystal Palace.
