Javier Pastore has arrived for a medical ahead of his move from Paris Saint-Germain to Roma, as West Ham look set to miss out on the midfielder.

The 29-year-old was captured by Roma's official social media feed as he arrived at Rome's Ciampino Airport.

The deal is believed to be around £17.5m plus £3.5m in bonuses. The Argentine is expected to complete his move later on Tuesday, therefore ending West Ham's interest.

Sky Sports News understands talks between the Premier League side and Pastore had re-opened earlier this month after they had halted due to the player's high wage demands.

PSG are willing to sell the Argentine as they aim to comply with UEFA's Financial Fair Play regulations.

Pastore, who joined PSG from Palermo in 2011, has only one year left on his current contract at the Parc des Princes.
