Watford forward Mauro Zarate has joined Dubai-based club Al Nasr on loan until the end of the season.
The 30-year old signed for the Hornets from Fiorentina last January in a two-and-a-half year deal, having spent previous spells in the top flight with West Ham, QPR and Birmingham City.
Zarate made three appearances for Watford last season before suffering a ruptured cruciate ligament against West Ham in February, forcing him to spend months on the sidelines.
The Argentine forward has yet to appear under Marco Silva this campaign despite featuring for the Hornets' U23 side.
Zarate will now move to Al Nasr, who are managed by former Italy boss Cesare Prandelli, on-loan for the remainder of the season, with Watford having the option to recall him in January.
