Sheffield Wednesday's Steven Fletcher has won the PFA Fans' Championship Player of the Month award for April.

The striker, who scored four goals in six games to help Wednesday seal a play-off spot, won the prize for his performances in April after collecting 9,203 votes from the public.

Tammy Abraham of Bristol City finished in second place with 3,349 votes with Fulham's Floyd Ayite third with 2,743 votes following a poll on Sky Sports' digital platforms, which has been verified by an independent party.

Sheffield Wednesday rebooted their play-off challenge in the Sky Bet Championship with a 2-0 win at relegated Rotherham.

Reading striker Yann Kermorgant (2,039 votes), Brighton striker Glenn Murray (1,284 votes) and Brentford striker Lasse Vibe (598 votes) were also shortlisted for the PFA Fans' Player of the Month award.

The shortlist was chosen by our panel, which included Sky Sports pundits Paul Merson and Peter Beagrie, Mike Riley - general manager of the Professional Game Match Officials and Malcolm Clarke - chairman of the Football Supporters' Federation.
