Leeds goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald was given a helping hand by one fan at Barnsley

After struggling with the sun in his eyes, Leeds goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald was given a helping hand by one fan.

On a bright afternoon in Yorkshire, Wiedwald felt the low sun was impacting his view in the first half at Oakwell, prompting one of the Leeds supporters behind his goal to give him his cap.

The fan was then given a huge ovation by his fellow away following, and they had more to smile about later in the first half.

Leeds' attacking players clearly weren't struggling with the sun, taking the lead minutes later thanks to Samuel Saiz's low strike before going on to win 2-0.

And the saga came to a happy conclusion as the fan had his hat returned to him in the away end.
