Bristol City and Sheffield United are interested in taking Liverpool winger Ryan Kent on loan, Sky Sports News understands.

Kent is back on Merseyside after cutting short his loan spell at Bundesliga side Freiburg.

The 21-year-old, who signed a long-term contract at Liverpool in August, made only six appearances while in Germany.

Kent featured heavily for Liverpool during pre-season and the club are keen for him to continue his development at a side in the Sky Bet Championship.
