Birmingham have signed Brentford right-back Maxime Colin for an undisclosed fee.

Sky Sports News understands the Blues agreed a £3m deal to sign Colin, who arrives on a four-year deal and becomes the third player to make the switch from the Bees to St Andrew's in the summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old Frenchman underwent a medical in the Midlands before following Jota and Harlee Dean to the club, and is looking forward to linking up with Harry Redknapp's new-look side after becoming his 13th summer signing.

"It was a long day but I'm very glad to be here," Colin said. "It's a big club.

"It shows the intention of the club to do well this year."

Colin was first choice at the Bees last season but they brought in Henrik Dalsgaard from Zulte Waregem earlier this summer.
