Saido Berahino is not expected to leave West Brom on Deadline Day, according to Sky sources.
Berahino - who has only started eight Premier League games this season and has not scored a league goal since mid-October - arrived at the club's training ground around 10am and has been included in Albion's squad for Tuesday's visit of Swansea.
Assistant head coach Dave Kemp - who was deputising for Tony Pulis - told West Brom's pre-match news conference he also expects the England U21 international to stay.
Kemp said: "He's still here [at the club], he has been in this morning. He has got a bit of a knock but he's in the squad for tomorrow's game. I'm expecting him to be here. The chairman deals with that side.
"It was awkward today, he has a dead leg he picked up on Saturday and came out a bit sore, he has gone home. With the media around that's probably the best thing to do.
"He's here, he's in the squad tomorrow."
Newcastle and Stoke have had £21m bids for Berahino rejected and Tottenham, who have previously bid £22m for the player, say they have no plans to make a new offer.
West Brom are seven points above the relegation zone but do not want to take any risks by selling a player who scored 14 Premier League goals last season and especially to a relegation rival such as Newcastle United.
There is also a commercial reason in that they believe they can get just as much money for him in the summer, even though he only has 12 months left on his contract.
Meanwhile, Tottenham winger Alex Pritchard is having a medical ahead of a loan move to the Hawthorns.
