Daniel Sturridge should be fit to return to action in 10 days’ time and could make his comeback for West Brom in the Premier League against Swansea on April 7.
The on-loan Liverpool striker suffered a hamstring injury in the defeat at Chelsea in February and has only played 78 minutes for West Brom since joining in the January transfer window.
Sturridge will have to hit the ground running on his return for West Brom who are bottom, 10 points from safety and have lost their last eight games in all competitions.
The 28-year-old will also be hoping to force his way into England's World Cup plans having been part of their last two tournament squads.
Another injury boost for West Brom could see Nacer Chadli return to the bench for Saturday's home game against Burnley following a thigh injury.
The Belgian has not played for the club since limping off in the 3-1 defeat at Stoke in December and has made just three league appearances this season.
Elsewhere, there are no new fresh injury concerns for Alan Pardew following the international break.
