Crystal Palace have agreed a deal to sign Everton striker Arouna Kone on a short-term contract, according to Sky sources.

Kone has six months left to run on his Everton contract but sources understand that the Ivory Coast international striker will move to Palace on a deal until the end of the season.

The 33-year-old joined Everton in 2013, following Roberto Martinez from Wigan Athletic, and has gone on to score 10 goals for the Toffees in 59 appearances in all competitions.
