Wilfried Zaha is proving he has the same kind of ability as Neymar, according to ex-Crystal Palace team-mate Yannick Bolasie.

Former Manchester United winger Zaha left Old Trafford to rejoin boyhood club Palace permanently in 2015, and has been a standout performer for the south London club this season, contributing six Premier League goals and nine assists.

Zaha, 24, attracted Tottenham Hotspur's attention last summer, and Palace chairman Steve Parish has already revealed he intends to offer the Ivory Coast international a new contract amid reported interest from other Premier League clubs.

Bolasie left Palace for Everton last summer in a deal worth £28m, according to Sky sources, and he believes Zaha's future can lie in the game's highest echelons, comparing his former colleague with Barcelona star Neymar.

"He can go as far as he wants. I said the other day that he's got the same kind of ability as Neymar and people were raising their eyebrows," Bolasie told ESPN FC.

"But now they're starting to see it and nobody is saying anything anymore! I'm just kind of laughing to myself and I'm like 'Well, I said that already'.
