Leeds United striker Chris Wood has arrived in Manchester for a medical ahead of his proposed £15m move to Burnley.
The Sky Bet Championship club's manager Thomas Christiansen confirmed on Saturday that Burnley's offer for the New Zealand international had been accepted.
Wood had been omitted from the Leeds squad to face Sunderland on Sky Sports and said on Twitter it would "not be right" for him to play while a transfer to the Premier League was in the works.
The 25-year-old arrived at Manchester City's Etihad campus on Sunday morning to begin the medical stage of his move to Turf Moor.
Burnley are looking for a goalscorer to replace Andre Gray, who left the club for Watford earlier this month, and Wood fits the bill after scoring 30 goals in 48 total appearances last season.
Christiansen said on Saturday: "The possibility to go to a Premier League club is interesting for him, and probably the money is also much better.
"But he was recognised and appreciated player at this club and everyone has to respect his decision. I personally hope he will do fine. I don't have anything against him, he's a good guy, a good player and he's given until now what I expected of him."
