Luis Hernandez has left Leicester for Malaga after just eight appearances for the Premier League champions.
The defender was signed from Sporting Gijon on a free transfer in the summer but struggled to displace regular right-back Danny Simpson.
And Hernandez has now completed a permanent return to Spain after Leicester accepted an undisclosed offer, which Sky sources say is £1.7m.
The 27-year-old started three Premier League games and four in the group stage of the Champions League.
