Robert Snodgrass is one of six Hull City players to extend their contract with the Premier League club.

Snodgrass, Abel Hernandez, Michael Dawson, Jake Livermore, Andrew Robertson and Harry Maguire are all tied to the club until the summer of 2018 after City activated 12-month extensions.

Snodgrass this week turned down the offer of a new long-term contract and all six players would have been entitled to walk away for nothing next summer on the expiry of their previous deals.

Teenage prospect Josh Tymon is also contracted for next season after an option on his scholarship agreement was exercised, and Hull boss MIke Phelan is hopeful of keeping all seven players beyond 2018.

Speaking at his pre-Christmas press conference, he said: "I'd like to think all of them will commit, I don't see why not.
