Aberdeen have rejected a second bid from Hull City for defender Scott McKenna.
The Dons have also reiterated to Hull that the player is not for sale, Sky Sports News understands.
McKenna broke into Aberdeen's first team this season and has reportedly attracted interest from a number of clubs.
Hull manager Nigel Adkins confirmed his interest in McKenna after Saturday's 0-0 draw against Reading.
Adkins said: "He (McKenna) is a left-footed centre-half who has a big future in front of him... We have made a bid.
"There is a definite interest from ourselves but he is an Aberdeen player and I've got a lot of respect for Derek McInnes and for what he has done up there.
"Anything we do will be in the right manner, we don't want to unsettle anybody."
