Leeds defender Lewie Coyle has joined Fleetwood on a season-long loan
The 21-year-old full-back signed a new three-year contract on Tuesday, before being immediately loaned to the League One side.
Fleetwood head coach Uwe Rosler said: "Lewie fits into the Fleetwood Town DNA. With that I mean the mentality, athleticism, game understanding and technique."
"He is a very exciting player who has played in the Championship and Leeds trust us to develop their player. I'm sure Lewie will grow and show his attributes and get better with each game he plays."
Fleetwood have already signed striker Conor McAleny from Everton this summer as they look to put the disappointment of losing to Bradford in the League One play-off semi-final behind them.
