Leeds United have announced a significant growth in the sales of season tickets for the 2017/18 campaign.
The figures show the Championship club have sold more than 20,000 season tickets this term - an increase of 6,000 sales on last year's numbers.
While engagement has risen across all age groups there has been a considerable increase for younger supporters, the figures show the number of under-11 season ticket holders has more than doubled since the 2016/17 season.
Increasing sales of season tickets has seen the average attendance rise at Elland Road by 6,601 for the first two games of the season compared to the start of last campaign.
Managing Director Angus Kinnear said: "We just want to say a huge thank you to the supporters who have committed their hard earned money to support their team.
"To see season ticket growth of over 40% is remarkable and a testimony to our fans unrivalled loyalty.
"Average attendances are up and we are expecting crowds of well over 30,000 for our games against Burton Albion and Birmingham City at Elland Road, in the next week.
"We know how much the support means to Thomas Christiansen and the players and it is clear that our fans are doing everything they can to try and push the club forward, which we truly appreciate it."
Leeds have impressed at Elland Road in the opening stages of the campaign and they will be hoping to continue their unbeaten home record when they host Burton Albion on Saturday.
