Sheffield United have made a bid in the region of £300,000 for Hartlepool United winger Nathan Thomas, according to Sky sources.
The 22-year-old has also attracted attention from Fulham amongst other Sky Bet Championship clubs, after impressing for the relegated League Two outfit this season.
Thomas, who joined the Pools from Mansfield on a free transfer in January 2016, scored nine goals in 34 appearances this campaign.
Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has already begun to bolster his squad following promotion to the Championship, re-signing forward Ched Evans from Chesterfield for £500,000.
The Blades clinched the League One crown with three matches to spare, but kept up their good form for the remainder of the season and hit the 100 point mark after claiming victory over Chesterfield on the final day.
