Danny Graham scored a brace as League One leaders Blackburn retained their one-point lead at the top following a 2-1 victory at Walsall.

Graham tucked Adam Armstrong's cross into the net from close range after 17 minutes for his 150th career goal and grabbed his 151st nine minutes later as he headed home his 12th of the season.

On-loan West Brom defender Jack Fitzwater reduced the deficit on the stroke of half-time as he volleyed the ball into the roof of the net to give the Saddlers hope but Rovers held on for their third straight win.

Hot on their heels, second-placed Shrewsbury recorded a 2-0 win away to Charlton who, as a result, dropped out of the play-off positions. Wigan remain third after a narrow 1-0 triumph at home to struggling Rochdale. The defeat saw Dale drop back to the bottom.

Antoni Sarcevic's deflected shot 10 minutes before the break proved enough as Plymouth claimed a 1-0 victory over Bradford, who lost Charlie Wyke to a straight red card for a raised arm in an aerial challenge with Sonny Bradley.

The result saw the Pilgrims move into the last play-off spot following an impressive run of six straight wins and just one defeat from their last 15 matches.

Rotherham claimed a late 2-1 comeback victory at home to Doncaster as Joe Newell's penalty - 13 minutes into stoppage-time - stole all three points. Scunthorpe remain in the play-off mix after being pegged back to a late 1-1 draw at Bristol Rovers as Duane Holmes' opener just after the hour mark was cancelled out by an Ellis Harrison effort at the death.
