Neil Taylor says Swansea are pumped up for a tough run of Premier League fixtures - starting with Super Sunday's showdown with Chelsea.

Swansea will attempt to end Chelsea's 100 per cent record at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday before tackling Southampton, Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal in their next four top-flight matches.

"As a squad now we need to be ready for these next five to six games," said Wales defender Taylor, who could make his first Premier League start of the season against Chelsea having been given an extended break after Euro 2016.

"It's going to be very difficult and we need to get results. It's a testing run against top teams, not just top teams but teams that are playing very well at the moment.

"We have to be on top form, but at the Liberty we feel we can beat anybody on our day."

Swansea opened their campaign with a hard-fought 1-0 win at Burnley.

But Francesco Guidolin's side have since disappointed in losing to Hull and Leicester, and an underwhelming transfer Deadline Day has added to the early-season mood of pessimism among Swansea supporters.

"After the Leicester game we feel we need a performance more than anything," added Taylor.

"I think the last two games have been below-par from us. We need to put on a performance in front of the cameras.

"I saw the Leicester game so I can understand the negative reaction. Fans don't want to see those kind of performances.

"After last season there's a bit of worry among the fans and that's understandable. But they have to get over it, have a look at where we are, how we're doing and stick together.

"This year is going to be unbelievably difficult and, if after three games we're not sticking together, it's going to be even harder."
