Brighton and Newcastle have shown an interest in signing Brentford's Alan Judge, according to Sky sources.

Brentford may consider selling Judge this month because the midfielder is out of contract in the summer.

Judge is hoping to make his comeback at the end of January, having suffered a broken leg in a game at Ipswich last April.

And Bees manager Dean Smith said at his Thursday press conference that the club are focused on getting Judge fit to play 10-12 games towards the end of the season.
