Brentford chief executive Mark Devlin expects their exciting Spanish attacker Jota to remain at the club next season.
Sky sources reported earlier this month that the 25-year-old is of interest to Premier League clubs including Everton, West Ham and Newcastle, as he enters the final year of his contract.
The Bees value him at £8m and are open to negotiating a new contract with the player, but they are yet to hold talks on the subject and are aware he wants to play in the top flight.
But Devlin told Sky Sports News HQ: "As far as we are concerned, Jota will be playing his football at Griffin Park next season.
"There will be lots of conjecture about players from all clubs, particularly those that performed well last year. Jota came back into the side in January and was fantastic for the final few months of the season.
"It's no surprise he's been catching the eye but Jota and the rest of the squad will be back in pre-season in July."
Jota joined the Bees from Celta Vigo in 2014 and thrived under former boss Mark Warburton, but became unsettled because of family reasons the following year, and left on an 18-month loan to Eibar.
Brentford recalled him in January because he was not getting many first-team minutes, and he scored 12 goals in 27 appearances, helping the Bees to a mid-table finish during the second half of the campaign.
