Celtic defender Jozo Simunovic's proposed move to Torino has fallen through, Sky sources understand.
The 22-year-old Croatian centre-back, who has been plagued by injury since moving to Celtic in September 2015, travelled to Italy for a medical but the deal will not proceed.
When asked if he was happy to return to Glasgow if a deal failed to materialise, Simunovic said: "Yes of course. That is no problem for me. I am ready to go back if the clubs cannot find an agreement. I just want to play football."
Simunovic has only played 17 games for the Hoops, and his last appearance was in January against St Johnstone.
Meanwhile, Celtic left-back Emilio Izaguirre will be staying with the Scottish champions until at least January.
The Honduras international appeared certain to leave Glasgow after what appeared to be an emotional farewell to the Celtic supporters in the final game of last season.
The 30-year-old has made two appearances under Brendan Rodgers, in the Champions League win over Lincoln Red Imps and the League Cup victory against Motherwell.
