Celtic charged by UEFA following win over Linfield

UEFA have opened disciplinary proceedings against Celtic following Wednesday's Champions League second qualifying round second leg match against Linfield.
The Hoops booked a spot against Rosenborg in the next round with a comfortable 4-0 win at Celtic Park that gave them a 6-0 aggregate victory.
But a banner of a paramilitary-style figure, which was unveiled alongside a tribute to Brendan Rodgers, has drawn the ire of UEFA.
Celtic have also been charged with a kit infringement and for fans blocking stairways during the match.
The kit infringement is understood to refer to a sponsor's logo on the warm-up bibs.
The case will be dealt with by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body on July 28.
Celtic were also charged by UEFA for an incident during the first leg when striker Leigh Griffiths was pictured tying a Celtic scarf to the goalpost at Windsor Park after the 2-0 win on July 14, which sparked crowd disorder.
Hosts Linfield were charged on that occasion for objects being thrown from the crowd and a field invasion by supporters.
Coins and bottles were aimed at Griffiths on a number of occasions, including in the second half when he was attempting to take a corner kick.
That case is scheduled to be dealt with on July 20.
