Rangers sign former Lech Poznan goalkeeper Maciej Gostomski

Rangers have signed Polish goalkeeper Maciej Gostomski on a six-month contract.

The Light Blues had been linked with a move for the 27-year-old, whose contract with Lech Poznan ran out at the end of last year after he had made 44 appearances in two seasons with the club.

Mark Warburton spoke to Sky Sports News HQ about the transfer window

Gostomski impressed during a trial in Glasgow and he has subsequently joined Mark Warburton's side until the end of the season.

The 6ft 5in 'keeper is available to make his debut in the Scottish Cup fourth round tie against Cowdenbeath on January 10, live on Sky Sports.

"This is a great opportunity for me and with my experience I think I can bring something to Rangers," Gostomski told the club's official website.

"They are a huge club with a great history and I am delighted to be here."

Gostomski becomes the second new signing made by the club since the January transfer window opened, after Doncaster winger Harry Forrester made the move to Ibrox.
