Hibernian boss Neil Lennon has been given a two-match ban for his part in a confrontation with Morton's Jim Duffy.

The pair clashed at Easter Road during their sides' Scottish Championship match, which ended goalless.

Lennon was found guilty of a breach of Rule 203 - "adopting an aggressive attitude" to Duffy and his staff, Morton player Kudus Oyenuga and the match officials.

The Hibs boss will serve a further two-game ban if found guilty of the same misconduct charge again in 2017.

Hibs were also fined £750 for a breach of Rule 204, for which the judgement read: "That on or around the 93rd minute of the above match three or more players and/or members of team staff from your club, were involved in a confrontation with opposing players and/or members of team staff."

That fine will also be increased by £250 if the offence is repeated before the end of the calendar year.

Lennon and Duffy were both sent to the stands by referee Nick Walsh, while Morton assistant manager Craig McPherson has also been charged.
