Inverness Caledonian Thistle have extended forward Miles Storey's loan from Swindon Town until the end of the season.

Storey, 22, made his initial loan move to Caley on September 1 and that was due to expire following Saturday's Scottish Cup tie away to Stirling Albion.

However, Inverness have now completed the paperwork to extend the deal with the Robins for the remainder of the campaign.

Storey, who has scored eight goals in 16 games since his move north, struggled to make an impact at Swindon and had previously spent loan periods at Salisbury, Shrewsbury, Portsmouth and Newport County.

Inverness manager John Hughes said: "He's brought an energy at the top end of the pitch, he's got great pace and
he's scoring goals.

"He has settled very, very quickly and we're delighted we have got the business done so early in the window. That will settle him down and hopefully he will have a better second half of the campaign than the first, and I'm quite sure that will be the case."
