The first leg of the La Liga curtain-raiser takes place on Sunday, with Copa del Rey winners Barcelona and league champions Real Madrid facing off at the Nou Camp, before the return leg three days later at the Bernabeu.

MSN is no more. Barca's fearsome attacking triumvirate has been disbanded. Can a Neymar-less Barca quickly dispel any doubt that they are less of a force without the Brazilian? Or will Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi suffer without their trusted sidekick?

Right-back Nelson Semedo is the only big-money Barca addition so far this summer, but numerous stellar additions have been touted, with a bid for Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho already rejected by the Premier League side, according to Sky sources.

Zinedine Zidane also seems set to keep the faith with the side that won the league and European Cup double last season. Youngsters Theo Hernandez and Dani Ceballos are the only high profile arrivals at the Bernabeu in this transfer window.

So who will take Neymar's role? Will Ernesto Valverde go with two up front? Where does Gareth Bale fit in?

We are giving you the chance to pick your preferred XI for the entire Barcelona and Real Madrid squads. You can choose from a range of formations and even experiment with players in unusual positions.
