De Gea, Donnarumma, Courtois: Which goalkeeper should Real Madrid pursue?

Thibaut Coirtois, David De Gea and Gianluigi Donnarumma have all been linked with Real Madrid

Real Madrid have been linked with moves for David de Gea, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Thibaut Courtois this summer, but which goalkeeper should Zinedine Zidane pursue?

The Friday papers claim Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho values De Gea at £100m amid interest from Real, who are also reportedly monitoring Thibaut Courtois' contract situation at Chelsea.

The reports come one day after it was revealed AC Milan goalkeeper Donnarumma would not be renewing his contract at the club, with his current deal set to run out in 2018.

AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma will not be signing a new contract, the club confirmed on Thursday.

The 18-year-old is widely seen as the heir to Gianluigi Buffon's throne in Italy, having earned his first senior international cap aged 17 years and six months. Real have been installed as odds-on favourites to sign the Italian this summer.

There is also the small matter of Keylor Navas, Real's current man between the sticks. The Costa Rican 'keeper helped Los Blancos win La Liga and the Champions League, while he has kept 34 clean sheets in 97 matches for the club.

Donnarumma has started every Serie A game since making his debut at 16 in October 2015. The Italian conceded more goals per minutes last season in comparison to the other three goalkeepers, but what stands out is his save percentage (76.4%) which is all the more impressive because he was called into action far more often than De Gea, Courtois or Navas.
