Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has extended his contract until 2021, the Serie A club have revealed.
The Senegal international joined the Naples-based club in 2014 from Racing Genk, rising to prominence last season where he made 42 appearances under Maurizio Sarri.
The 25-year-old, who has made four league appearances so far this season, was strongly linked with a move to Premier League Chelsea during the last transfer window.
Napoli are understood to have rejected several bids for Koulibaly from the Premier League club, who were forced to look elsewhere for defensive reinforcements.
Current Serie A leaders Napoli travel to seventh-placed Genoa on Wednesday.
