Fiorentina's attacking midfielder Federico Bernardeschi is a transfer target for Bayern Munich. The 23-year-old's current deal expires in 2019 and he's been continuously linked with moves away from Florence. Werder Bremen's pursuit of Europa League qualification has been given a boost with former Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry, Lamine Sane and Philipp Bargfrede all rejoining the team training session on Tuesday. Neymar has been ruled out of El Clasico against Real Madrid. The Brazilian received a one-match ban for the red card against Malaga but the ban was increased by a further two matches after he sarcastically applauded the fourth official. It comes as a blow with Barcelona three points behind their rivals having already played a game more than Los Blancos. Defeat at the Santiago Bernabeu could end their title hopes. (AS)
After scoring twice in Juventus' 3-0 win over Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday night, Paulo Dybala has quashed talk of a move to Barca his summer by confirming he is close to extending his stay in Turin.
The 23-year-old scored twice in the first 22 minutes to put the Biaconeri in control before Giorgio Chiellini added a third in the second half. Speaking afterwards the Argentine confirmed an announcement about extending his contract was imminent. (Gazetta dello Sport)
