PSV Eindhoven have confirmed the signing of Mexico winger Hirving Lozano from Pachuca.
The 21-year-old left Mexico's Confederations Cup base in Russia to have a medical in Eindhoven on Monday and has signed a six-year contract with the Dutch club.
Sky sources reported earlier this month that Manchester City were interested in the 21-year-old, who has impressed over the past two seasons scoring 22 goals in 69 league appearances for his previous, Mexican club.
Reports in Mexico at the time suggested the deal would involve a two-year loan spell at PSV, but the Eredivisie side have now signed him permanently.
And PSV football director Marcel Brands said: "I am happy we have done it in the end. It took over six months and a lot of creativity to complete the move."
Nicknamed 'Chucky', Lozano has partnered former Manchester United and current Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez in his national side's attack.
Mexico are currently second in the Confederations Cup Group A after a 2-2 draw against Portugal.
