West Brom's Jonny Evans is unfazed by stories linking him with a move on Deadline Day, insists his Northern Ireland team-mate Tom Flanagan.

The Baggies skipper has been the subject of interest from Manchester City, Leicester and Arsenal, who all have until Thursday night's 11pm deadline to try to secure the centre-back.

Flanagan has seen no change in Evans this week in the Northern Ireland training sessions conducted at Manchester City's training ground ahead of Friday night's World Cup Qualifier in San Marino, live on Sky Sports.

"Jonny's not worried about it," Flanagan said. "With us training at Manchester City it might be more nerve-wracking for other people.

"He's coming off the back of a little injury but he's looking after himself. He's such a good professional on and off the pitch and I can't speak highly enough of him."

The two could be paired together on Friday night, by which point Evans' future will be resolved one way or another, and Burton's Flanagan has been impressed by his level-headedness both on and off the field.

"The list of what I can learn from Jonny is ridiculously long," one-cap international Flanagan added.

Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill does not believe Jonny Evans' form will be affected

"It's not passing the ball, or heading the ball or technique or anything like that, it's more his cool, calm collectedness. The way he carries himself and his discipline too.

"That's a big part of international football that's different to league football and his mannerisms during a game of football are very mature and I think that's where I need to get to.

"My one highlight of everything is his composure. People ask me what Jonny is like and I just say, 'He's the most relaxed man I've ever played football with'.
