Neymar admits Liverpool playmaker and compatriot Philippe Coutinho would suit Barcelona's playing style.
The two Brazilians have played alongside each other for several years while representing their country at various international levels and the Barca man believes his compatriot has what it takes to turn out for the Spanish and European champions.
He said at a publicity event: "I think there are many players with great qualities that could be playing for Barcelona.
"One of them is [Philippe] Coutinho. He is a great player and his style suits Barcelona."
Barcelona made two signings this summer in Aleix Vidal and Arda Turan, but neither can play until January because of a transfer ban.
Luis Enrique's side currently sit top of La Liga after winning their opening four games, while Liverpool are 13th in the Premier League with two wins, two draws and two defeats so far.
