Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has ruled out a move for Wolfsburg's Kevin De Bruyne, and insists Mario Gotze and Thomas Muller are staying at the club.

Manchester City have launched a £47m bid for Wolfsburg attacker De Bruyne, according to Sky sources, but Bayern are not in the race to sign the Belgian.

Guardiola also insists Germany internationals Gotze and Muller will remain at the Allianz, despite being linked in the British press with a move to Manchester United.

Ahead of Friday's start of the new Bundesliga season, Guardiola said: "Mario [Gotze] stays, Thomas [Muller] stays. Kevin De Bruyne is not coming. I knew that two weeks ago."

Bundesliga champions Bayern take on Hamburg in the opening game of the season, and Guardiola says a quick start is imperative.
