The Us position on the promising young midfielder remains the same - that he is not for sale this month.
Sky Sports News understands the Sky Bet League One club are concentrating on finding a new manager after sacking Pep Clotet last week.
Sky sources have claimed the 20-year-old Ledson is interested in a move to the Championship club this month, however.
The former Everton academy player has 18 months left on his current contract.
Oxford landed highly-rated midfielder Cameron Brannagan in a permanent deal from Liverpool earlier in the window, while they have also signed centre-back Robert Dickie from Reading and Isaac Buckley-Ricketts on loan from Man City.
