Isaac Buckley-Ricketts is unlikely to be involved in Oxford United's Sky Bet League One clash with Fleetwood.
The on-loan Manchester City winger came on to replace the injured Josh Ruffels in the goalless draw with Oldham but was substituted himself after only 16 minutes due to a lack of impact.
Ruffels is to undergo a fitness test on the hamstring problem he sustained as Oxford face a key week in their bid to ease their relegation fears. Gino van Kessel, on loan from Slavia Prague, remains out with a hamstring injury that could force him to miss the rest of the season.
Fleetwood boss John Sheridan has hinted that he will tinker with his line-up after a 3-2 defeat to Rotherham ended his side's four-match winning streak. Sheridan named an unchanged team for the fifth game in a row and senses that it needs to be freshened up for the trip.
"Some of the players looked a bit tired and you could see that. I have kept with the same players, the same system for a number of games now," he said. Fleetwood, who proved vulnerable to Rotherham at set-pieces, have no fresh injury problems to report.
Oxford have never beaten Fleetwood in the Football League, losing six of their seven previous meetings (D1).
The Cod Army have won all three of their visits to Oxford in the Football League.
The U's are still waiting for their first win under Karl Robinson (D2 L2).
Fleetwood have lost just one of their last eight league games (W4 D3), though it was in their game at the weekend against Rotherham (2-3).
