Reading manager Jaap Stam could name an unchanged side for their Sky Bet Championship clash against Birmingham on Tuesday night (kick-off 8pm).

Garath McCleary, Chris Gunter and Paul McShane all returned from international duty to feature during the Royals' 2-1 victory over Ipswich on Friday and should keep their places.

John Swift came off the bench after returning to the match-day squad from a hamstring injury and will push to start.

Forward Yakou Meite remains unavailable but is a week away from action as he recovers from an ankle ligament problem while Latvian striker Deniss Rakels remains sidelined until the end of the month with an ankle injury.

Birmingham boss Gary Rowett has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the trip.

Jack Storer remains Blues' only absentee as he serves his final game his suspension while recent signing Rhoys Wiggins is still not up to speed and requires more fitness work.

Rowett faces the dilemma of whether or not to change a winning team and told the club's official website: "The lads - particularly the ones who didn't start on Saturday, trained really well today (Monday). You can see there are five or six on that bench who are really, really chomping at the bit to start games.
