SUNDERLAND 1-1 DERBY
FULL-TIME! It's all over and the spoils are shared at the Stadium of Light. Probably just about the right result. Bradley Johnson gave Derby the lead after 11 minutes but Sunderland fought back and levelled from the spot just before half-time.
The first half was excellent, the second half not so much. But plenty more to come this weekend in the Sky Bet Championship!
90+2: WHAT A CHANCE! Nugent fluffs his lines! Great weighted header by Bryson back into the path of the striker in the box, but he can't make proper contact with it! That looks like it's going to be that.
90+1: Two minutes added on for someone to try and find a winner... the ball falls for Johnson on the edge of the area but the Derby goalscorer drives his effort wide.
89: YELLOW! The book comes out for Vaughan after the Sunderland man's relatively wild lunge on Keogh.
88: Twenty-nine attempts in this match, 19 for Sunderland and 10 for Derby. Just eight on target, though.
85: CHANCE! Cattermole has had such an adventurous second half... which says a fair bit about the second half. He charges into the six-yard box to try and get onto the end of a cross, but he can't wrap his foot round it to steer it towards goal.
84: Who wants it more? Currently it's Sunderland. Honeyman bursts well down the right and gets into the box, but can't find a team-mate in the middle. Derby holding firm.
81: No Sunderland manager has won their first game in charge since Martin O'Neill, and they've had a fair few since then... Will that change for Simon Grayson?
78: SUB! Another change for Derby as David Nugent comes on for Chris Martin.

WATCH: DERBY'S OPENER
Here's a reminder of how Derby took the lead early on...
74: WHAT A MISS! And there is a chance, but what an awful miss by Martin. Derby break through Vydra before he squares it to his strike partner. It's a golden chance for Martin, but he loses his footing and sends the ball a mile over the bar.
Let off for Sunderland.
72: Derby dominating the ball right now but not doing an awful lot with it. Are we heading towards the stage where both sides will settle for a draw? Russell finds himself in a good area to shoot, but is immediately charged down on the edge of the area.
Fancy Sunderland to sneak this? A 2-1 home win is now a 9/2 (from 4/1) Price Boost at Sky Bet. In the result market, the draw is now odds-on at 4/5.

69: Vydra trying to show some hustle and bustle to get Derby going again. But he's a bit isolated up top right now.
66: SUB! And here is the change. Andi Weimann, who hasn't had a great game, is replaced by Matej Vydra for Derby.
64: And here's the first one. Vydra about to come on for Derby...
63: Bit of a lull in the action to be honest. Shouldn't be too long until we see some changes from either manager. Russell attempts to curl one in from distance for Derby, but it's straight into the arms of Steele.
60: An hour gone now and it's Sunderland who have probably been the better side so far, not that Derby haven't had their chances. A third of the game to go for someone to find a winner.
57: OFF THE POST! Sunderland are getting closer. Cattermole of all people suddenly gets a bit adventurous and bursts through on goal, he then square it for Grabban, but he can only slam his effort onto the post and out.
53: CHANCE! It's opening up. A Derby corner finds the head of Keogh, who rises highest but then sees his header cleared off the line.
52: Cattermole attempts an ambitious drive from the edge of the box which Honeyman tries to turn goalwards for Sunderland, but he takes the sting out of it and it drifts harmlessly into the arms of Carson.
49: SO CLOSE! Sunderland a whisker away from taking the lead. Galloway's cross finds its way into the path of Vaughan just inside the box, but his shot goes just, just wide of the post. Carson was stranded.
47: CLOSE! Forsyth gets forward and whips a ball in which ends up heading towards goal until Steele touches it away. Not sure if that was a clever attempt at goal or just a rubbish cross from the Derby man.
SECOND HALF! We're back underway!
WATCH: SUNDERLAND'S EQUALISER
And here's how Sunderland levelled the game through Lewis Grabban's penalty...
Here are some pictures from the first half at the Stadium of Light.
Our betting partners Sky Bet rate the draw the most likely outcome after that first half - that's an 11/8 chance with Sunderland at 15/8 and Derby 5/2 shots.
Half-time Price Boosts include James Vaughan to score the next goal at 7/1 from 13/2.
HALF-TIME! We're all square at the break in the first game of the Sky Bet Championship season. Bradley Johnson opened the scoring for Derby after 11 minutes, but Lewis Grabban levelled for Sunderland a few moments before the break. Well poised.
45+1: One minute added on.
44: No less than Sunderland deserve for their first-half endeavours. The sound goes up a notch in the Stadium of Light.
GOAL! SUNDERLAND 1-1 DERBY (Grabban, 42 pen)
Cool, calm and composed from Lewis Grabban. He slots it right into the corner to level the score. Carson went the right way but couldn't get near it.
SUNDERLAND 0-1 DERBY
41: PENALTY TO SUNDERLAND! Butterfield loses his footing a little and moves his arm towards the ball in the box... and the referee points to the spot!
It seemed a little harsh, but his arm was out from his side and there was clear contact with the ball.
37: OVER! Another chance goes begging for Sunderland. A free-kick is only headed as far as Grabban at the edge of the area, but his strike flashes over the bar. Should have done better with that.
34: Cattermole trying to get Sunderland going as he charges into the box before passing to Vaughan, but his shot from just inside the area is blocked.
31: Not the start Simon Grayson would have been hoping for...
28: Cracking game so far as we approach the half-hour mark. Sunderland fighting hard to get back level.
25: WHAT A STOP! Carson called into action for the first time as the ball pings around in the box following a Sunderland free-kick before falling to Cattermole, and his powerful effort from 10 yards is kept out superbly by the Derby goalkeeper. Superb.
And here's how Bradley Johnson opened the scoring for Derby in the 11th minute...
20: SHOT! Derby come again. The ball finds its way to Huddlestone on the edge of the area, but his drive is saved by Steele - who spills it slightly before making amends.
WATCH: SUNDERLAND'S TRIBUTE TO BRADLEY
There were emotional scenes before kick-off at the Stadium of Light as Sunderland paid tribute to Bradley Lowery...
SUNDERLAND 0-1 DERBY
16: Derby on top now and you have to wonder if Sunderland heads will drop this early. The Black Cats haven't won a league game in August for the last seven seasons...
13: What a blow for Sunderland, who had started so well. Simon Grayson standing on the sidelines looking utterly, utterly unhappy.
GOAL! SUNDERLAND 0-1 DERBY (Johnson, 11)
Well that's come out of nowhere. Sunderland have been dominating but the first goal of the Sky Bet Championship season is scored by Derby! Superb, superb work from Russell as he brings the ball down superbly out of the air, beats Galloway then fires it across goal for Bradley Johnson, and he has the simplest of tasks in slamming it home from close range.
The Rams lead at the Stadium of Light!
SUNDERLAND 0-0 DERBY
10: CHANCE! More pressure from Sunderland. Honeyman rushes through and dinks the ball over Carson, while McGeady gets in at the far post and tries to pull it back across goal, only for Wisdom to scramble it clear.
7: "It's a high tempo start from Sunderland, it's just about whether they can keep it up," says Andy Hinchcliffe in the commentary box. No chances created yet, though.
Galloway, on loan from Everton, has started well down the left.
3: Good start for Sunderland, putting on the early pressure at the Stadium of Light.
