Manchester United transfer target Paul Pogba could stay at Juventus, according to his agent Mino Raiola.
The 23-year-old midfielder, who starred as France reached the final of Euro 2016, has been the subject of discussions between United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and the Serie A club, Sky sources understand.
It is understood United face no competition for Pogba's signature after Real Madrid, whom the player would prefer to join, pulled out of the running.
Sky sources understand that Raiola is demanding 30 per cent of any transfer fee as his commission, and Juventus are unhappy at losing such a huge cut of what would potentially be a £100m deal.
But Raiola, who also looks after United's recent signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic, suggested Pogba could extend his current contract in Turin, which runs until 2019.
"There is a lot of talk about Paul's future, but maybe he will not leave Juventus," Raiola told The Times.
"He is in no rush to leave, and Juventus do not want him to go. They want him to renew his contract.
"Paul is not desperate to move. We are very happy at Juventus and they are a club that want to keep their star players."
Should Pogba move to Old Trafford, it would mark a return to the club for a player former manager Sir Alex Ferguson allowed to leave on a free transfer to Juve in 2012.
New United boss Jose Mourinho recently spoke of four priority targets in the transfer window this summer and playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan's capture marked their third success after the arrivals of Ibrahimovic and centre-back Eric Bailly.
