Tottenham have rejected a number of offers for Heung-Min Son and will not sell the forward before Wednesday's deadline, sources have told Sky Sports News HQ.

Reports in Germany claim a sizable bid of £25.6m was made by Wolfsburg on Monday after Sky in Germany reported the Bundesliga club were interested last week.

However, Sky sources understand Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino and his technical staff still have high hopes for Son and he remains part of the manager's plans for the forthcoming season.

The South Korea international, who joined Tottenham last summer in an £18m deal from Bayer Leverkusen, has not played for Spurs yet this season due to his participation in his country's team at the Olympics in Rio.

He was on the bench for Saturday's home draw with Liverpool after returning to Hotspur Way last week.
