Derby County have had a £1.5m offer for Brentford's Florian Jozefzoon rejected, Sky Sports News understands.

The bid is understood to have fallen far short of the Bees' valuation of the Dutch winger.

Several clubs, including Leeds United, are also understood to be keen on Jozefzoon, who scored seven goals in 43 appearances last season.

The 27-year-old moved to Griffin Park from PSV Eindhoven in January 2017 and has just a year left on his current contract.

Brentford have several players of interest to other clubs this summer, with Bournemouth keen on both Ollie Watkins and defender Chris Mepham.

The Cherries have already seen a £10m offer for B team graduate Mepham rejected this summer, following a £5.5m bid during the January window.

The Bees have lost defender Andreas Bjelland but replaced him with highly-rated youngster Ezri Konsa from Charlton.
