Osasuna injury headaches grow

Osasuna duo Rafael Clavero and Valdo both face spells on the sidelines.

Osasuna have suffered a double injury blow with the news that both Rafael Clavero and Valdo face spells on the sidelines.

Midfielder Clavero has broken a toe in his left foot and will be out of action for at least a month.

Former Real Madrid forward Valdo has a minor tear in his right thigh and is likely to be in the treatment room for around two weeks.

It is bad news for the Navarra-based outfit who have already lost first-choice goalkeeper Ricardo Sanzol to a long-term injury, and who have hit a bad patch of form recently.

They are without a win in their last ten league matches and have slipped dangerously towards the relegation zone.

What's more, midfielders Pablo Garcia and Inaki Munoz are also struggling for fitness with flu and an Achilles injury respectively and are battling to make Sunday's game with Levante.
