Newcastle striker Shola Ameobi believes that The Magpies' young guns can sink Manchester United to reach the FA Cup final.Ameobi is delighted with Newcastle's recent form, and is keen to see the side continue the trend when they face The Red Devils in the FA Cup semi-finals.
"Obviously there was a chance we would draw Manchester United but I'm excited with the young team we've got," the England Under-21 striker told Sky Sports news.
"We know it's going to be a tough match but we also know we have to beat the best teams to bring the cup home, so we'll be going over there with a lot of confidence.
"Obviously if we can keep the winning streak going before the semi-final it will do our confidence a lot of good.
"Hopefully we can go there and get to the final.
"A trophy has been a long time coming for Newcastle. We know that and we are aware of it, so hopefully we can go there and help achieve that."
