Chelsea pair in Argentina squad

ARGENTINA coach Marcelo Bielsa has named a 22-man squad for his nation's World Cup qualifying matches against Chile and Venezuela.

The two-time winners of the competition commence the qualification process for Germany 2006 on Saturday at home to Chile.

Bielsa's men entertain Chile in Buenos Aires before travelling to Caracas for the tussle with Venezuela next Tuesday.

The Argentine chief has selected a squad primarily comprised of European-based players with the Chelsea duo of Hernan Crespo and Juan Sebastian Veron in the party.

There are four new faces in the set-up from the squad which tackled Uruguay in a recent friendly with former Arsenal defender Nelson Vivas among the additions.
