Reds ace attracting interest

Skysports.com can reveal that several clubs are interested in signing Liverpool defender Djimi Traore.

Bolton are thought to be keen on bringing in the versatile defender as they look to ease their defensive injury problems.

With Ricardo Gardner and Simon Charlton joining Florent Laville on the sidelines, Bolton boss Sam Allardyce is desperately searching for defensive reinforcements.

French outfit Paris Saint Germain are also believed to be interested in taking Traore on loan for the second half of the season.

Traore has been in and out of the Liverpool team this season, failing to nail down a regular place in Gerard Houllier's plans and he could be keen on a move away for regular first-team football.

The player's agent, Monte Carlo-based Willie McKay admitted a number of sides were interested in signing Traore, but doubted whether or not Liverpool would be willing to let him go.

"I believe that several sides want to get him on loan," McKay told skysports.com.

"I am not sure whether or not Liverpool would want to loan him and it is really up to Rick Parry and Gerard Houllier.

"Djimi is keen to be playing regular first-team football and a loan move could be good for him."
