France Under-21 coach Rene Girard believes Anthony Le Tallec has all the attributes to become a top star.The Liverpool starlet, currently on loan at Sunderland, has emerged as a key player for Girard's side - and was on the scoresheet against England in Friday's draw between the two sides.
Despite failing to shine in The Premiership, with either Liverpool or Sunderland, Girard is confident the player will realise his potential in the not too distant future.
"When you see Anthony today, there is a big difference with the one who dragged on his sadness,'' Girard told L'Equipe.
''He wants to make up for the time he has lost.
''He has understood sometimes you have to look at yourself, and not always believe it is the other person's fault.
''Now he needs to settle in a club. He has a great talent, but he has to give a lot.
''Because nowadays, at 21, you are not a beginner anymore."
