Arsenal starlet Jose Antonio Reyes has earned a recall to the Spain squad.

Arsenal starlet Jose Antonio Reyes has earned a recall to the Spain squad for the friendly against Venezuela.

Reyes was left out of Spain's squad for Euro 2004 by former coach Inaki Saez but has been selected by new boss Luis Aragones.

The veteran tactician has picked a 22-man squad for next Wednesday's encounter with Venezuela in Las Palmas.

Aragones has omitted eight of the players who were part of Saez's Euro 2004 set-up, with third choice goalkeeper Daniel Aranzubia missing out as the coach relies on Iker Casillas and Santiago Canizares.
