Rosicky: I will be even better

Tomas Rosicky is confident he has a lot more to offer Arsenal in the coming months.

Tomas Rosicky is confident he has a lot more to offer Arsenal as he continues to adjust to the demands of the Premiership.

The Czech Republic schemer joined The Gunners in a £6.8million deal from Borussia Dortmund last summer and has made 18 appearances in the league.

Though he has yet to score in the competition, he has been happy with his form, but expects even better in his second season.

"I hoped I would do well and I am very happy that I play regularly, that I have gained ground there this quickly," Rosicky told Idnes.

"However, it is very difficult. The Premiership is very quick, but I believe I will be even better."

Rosicky also reflected on Saturday's 1-1 draw at Middlesbrough, which ended Arsenal's three-game winning streak in the Premiership.

He added: "At least we made the score level, that is positive. We must take the draw.

"We had won a lot of games before, so I would not make a tragedy of it.

"We are rather unhappy with the fact that we have had to overturn the score. I don't know why we started so slowly.

"Fortunately, we have been good in the final stages."
