Franck Dumas is adamant Yoan Gouffran will be playing for Caen next season, even if he is sold this summer.The highly-rated striker is a target for Arsenal and recently revealed there was a 50-50 chance he would depart Caen this summer.
However, Caen coach Dumas wants Gouffran to stay and help the newly-promoted side in Ligue 1 next season.
The France Under 21 international could therefore be sold this summer and loaned straight back to Caen for the coming campaign.
"A transfer and a loan back to Caen? That is a possibility indeed," Dumas told France Football. "But anyway, we will keep him this year."
Paris Saint Germain and Marseille are also interested in Gouffran, and could rival Arsenal for the 21-year-old's signature.
